The first wave of NFL Free Agency is over, and the Sharp Football Analysis crew has some thoughts.<\/p>\n
Warren Sharp, Rich Hribar, and Raymond Summerlin discussed all of the major signings including Kirk<\/strong> Cousins<\/strong>‘ move to the Falcons.<\/p>\n The bottom line here is Kirk is just such a big upgrade. He has been one of the most accurate passers in the NFL, and that's just something that we did not not see out of Desmond<\/strong> Ridder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We did not see it out of any of the other iterations of the Atlanta Falcons quarterback for the last several years, and Matt<\/strong> Ryan<\/strong>, I mean his arm was just like shot at the end there down in Atlanta.<\/p>\n So the fact that Kirk Cousins is going to give them a much higher floor is going to be a lot of fun to watch, and he has a very accurate arm.<\/p>\n Darnell<\/strong> Mooney<\/strong> was not seeing that in Chicago from Justin<\/strong> Fields<\/strong> whatsoever, so that's going to be a big upgrade for Mooney specifically.<\/p>\n These receivers who have been in Atlanta aren't going to know what it's like to have a ball hit them in stride consistently.<\/p>\n Hopefully, Kirk is going to be able to deliver that and you already have the run game, so I'm excited to see what Atlanta's able to bring to the table this year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The trio also discussed Calvin<\/strong> Ridley<\/strong>, the great job the Houston Texans did in March, and much more.<\/p>\n Listen to the full podcast episode below.<\/p>\n
